I am a metalsmith specializing in hand fabricated jewelry using sterling silver, bronze, copper, and various found objects. My work is contemporary and original. It is inspired by both nature and the creative work of early man. This is not a conscious effort, it just happens.

Laura's artwork includes custom mosaic installations for commercial and residential spaces, fused glass accent tiles and custom signage. Laura also offer's workshops that introduce basic glass fusing and modern mosaic art.
This "Self Portrait" mosaic was created with a glass material called Mexican Smalti. Each glass tile has been nipped with mosaic wheeled nippers and strategically placed to create an abstract portrait of Aiken. This project was created using the values instead natural colors to make up the piece.
